What is a Hard Gel?
Hard gel is a protective layer applied between your natural nail and polish. It helps prevent chipping, bending, or breaking while keeping your natural nails strong and allowing them to grow long and healthy.
What’s better: Gel-X or Acrylic?
Both Gel-X and Acrylic are excellent nail extension systems, but they serve different needs:
• Acrylic: Best for clients who are rougher on their nails or work with harsh chemicals. Strong, durable, and long-lasting.
• Gel-X: Great for clients who want something durable yet softer and more natural-feeling. Gel-X is usually removed and reapplied, while acrylic can be refilled.

How often should I get a rebase or refill?
We recommend every 2 weeks to keep nails healthy and strong. As your nails grow, the apex (the strongest point of the nail structure) shifts forward, which can make nails more prone to breaking if left too long.
That said, our quality work is built to last—many clients comfortably wear their nails for 3–3.5 weeks. While we encourage biweekly maintenance, we understand life gets busy, so both timelines are perfectly fine depending on your lifestyle.

Do you remove old sets or work from other salons?
Yes, we can safely remove your old set—even if it was done elsewhere. We prioritize protecting the health of your natural nails, so removals are always done with care and patience.
Do you accept walk-ins or appointment only?
Élevé is by appointment only, to ensure every client receives the full time and attention they deserve. You can easily book online to secure your spot.
